Bad Habit Bad Love Book 1 edition by Charleigh Rose Literature Fiction eBooks

This review will probably be all over the place, so I apologize, but this book. GAH! I’m one of the readers who has been dying to get my hands on this book, and that all stemmed from the small teasers Charleigh shared while writing it. There wasn’t a blurb, a cover, and I hadn’t read any of her previous work, but I seriously could not wait to get my hands on Bad Habit. (Note: Misbehaved has been on, and will now be jumping up my TBR list.) Anyways, then she hit us with that hot af cover and blurb, and I was done for. Done. Made sure there was some wiggle room in my schedule, because as soon as this dropped, I was jumping in. And that’s what I did.

“This kiss feels like war. A battle between right and wrong. Moral and corrupt. Honorable and deplorable.”

I jumped into Asher and Briar’s story, and there was no coming back. That freakin’ prologue has gone down as the hottest, most achingly forbidden prologue I’ve ever read. I was completely hooked to them, this feeling, their story.

“Briar loved with her whole heart. And somehow, she thought someone like me was worthy of being on the receiving end of that love.”

The emotion within these pages took me by surprise in the best possible way. My heart ached the same way Briar’s ached. She was young, goodness personified, and suffering from unrequited love. And the loss of a boy who was always just out of her grasp.

“He’s perfection, even bruised and bleeding. This beautifully damaged boy is about to give me the one part of him I’ve never had. And I’m about to give him what should’ve been his.”

It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for the broken alphas in the books I read. Asher Kelley was definitely this, but there was also something special that made me feel protective of him. He was angry, came from a rough home life, looked down upon by his community. Except, there was always Briar in his corner, wanting him exactly how he was—but due to circumstance and age, he’d never act on it. Thought she could do better. I think this is what made me fall so much harder for him—that under all that hard exterior, you could still see the good that he so desperately wanted to show, but didn’t think he was.

“But, what I feel for Briar transcends logic, rules, and societal norms. She’s so deeply ingrained in me, that I’m not even me without her. My best side was her worst creation.”

I could totally continue gushing about this book, but just know, it’s everything I love about the romance genre. Bad Habit is an addicting, sizzling, emotional read with star-crossed lovers you can’t help but succumb to. It reminded me exactly why I fell in love with the new adult genre.

Bad Habit Bad Love Book 1 edition by Charleigh Rose Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Well wow. What can I even say about this book? I LOVED IT. HARD. I have read every story from Charleigh Rose, and this one is my absolute favourite!

Oh my god. Asher and Briar did everything to my heart. Everything! I lust a good and dirty forbidden romance, but I also love one that gives me the FEELS. And Bad Habit definitely gave me a million feels. My heart swelled, shattered and soared. My body felt like it was on fire. My soul was obliterated by the love these two had for each other. *cries*

One of my weaknesses is an #ahole. Even better if he’s an alpha #ahole who talks dirty. Asher epitomizes all of the above. And then some. He’s also a good guy on the inside. I couldn’t ever get enough of him. Some of the things he said to Briar had me wanting to throw my kindle. I even wanted to punch him. Then he’d say or do or think something else and I’d want to mount him. I really couldn’t help but fall head over heels for him. The things he went through had my heart hurting so bad. SO. BAD. I just wanted to see him happy. With Briar. God I love that girl so much. She’s gold man. Pure gold.

The tension between Asher and Briar radiated from the pages. The sexy scenes were off the hook. So real and so hot, I was sweating. And moaning. A LOT. I also may have needed some sexonds, or a hundred to myself. Whew. I won't say why...

I haven't talked about the bromance in this book. I died of laughter. The flack Adrian gives Asher had me in stitches. I adored these guys and their friendships so, so much. Man, the way Adrian taunted Asher was EPIC. Loved it!

If you are lusting after an enemies to lovers romance that will get you hot and bothered, punch you in the gut, and make you feel all the feels then YOU NEED to meet Asher and Briar and the rest of the gang! This book is LIFE! I cannot wait to read more from CR!
Holy unicorns! I am left speechless and with a BIG book hangover. Charleigh Rose has just ruined me in a sweet and twisted way. This is the first time I read something of her and I am amazed by her talent with words. Her writing is smooth, steamy and well built.

Bad Habit is a stunning and mind-blowing reading you MUST NOT miss. It is one of the best books I have the pleasure to read over the year. It has all the elements that make it a piece of taboo art. Carleigh did a great combination of those elements that blown my mind the age difference of the characters, the prohibited feelings, the hurt, the damaged bad boy, the good girl with no regrets, the lust, the attraction, the hope and the love. All brilliantly put together to create a masterpiece. I can't find a greater enjoyment than reading this book.

I have left with a great smile on my face because this book was a good way to spend my day. The peace was fast and steady with a lot of curves that had me at the edge of a heart attack. The characters are complex and well developed. Carleigh gifted us a BAD BOY with a GOLDEN HEART.

This book is about a fierce and raw love story. The hero is a bad boy and the heroine is a good (young) girl. The age difference is an abyss between them but they will fall into temptation. The attraction is too intense and electrifying. A kiss, a mistake and a misunderstanding will seal their fate.

Briar knows what her young heart desires nevertheless she is still a teenager. She wants Asher, his brother's best friend. She never tough that he felt the same.

Asher is a rare kind of bad boy. His life was raw since his mom died. He wasn't born with the same privileged life like his friends. He is the boy who was tempted by his best friend's little sister. They boy who has not future. The boy who left everything. A bad habit.

I love Asher, he is just himself. A hard boy with a tender heart. A fallen angel with dark wings who embrace the pain and endure his heart. He just have one weakness and/or strength Briar.

He is the damaged boy with a strong heart that beats for only one little girl. He thinks he does not deserve to be loved. (That breaks my heart) Briar will teach him that he worth the fight.

This book is NOT a cliché. It is a bookish delightful. You will be captivated by the way the story goes. So smooth and easy but with some peaks that will have you at the edge of the abyss.

I am glad that Asher was the who just popped my cherry. And from now on I won't miss a book of this talented lady. I extremely recommend you this book. This is a must read that will exceed your bookish expectations. Be prepared to blush like a virgin with the steamy scenes. This book will leave you wanting more.
